(BROCKTON, ON) - On August 4, 2025, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Municipality of Brockton.

Investigation determined that an individual attended a residence in Walkerton and drove into a parked vehicle after making death threats to the victim. The accused left the scene, however, was arrested at a later time.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old individual from Hanover has been charged with:

• Uttering threats to cause death, CC 264.1(1)(a)
• Mischief over $5000, CC 430(3)
• Dangerous Operation, CC 320.13(1)
• Operation while Impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
