(HALIBURTON COUNTY, ON) - The Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged two individuals following an investigation involving drugs.

As a result of the investigation, Guo-Zhang CHEN, 54 of Scarborough, and Yaping WU, 36 of Scarborough, have both been charged with:

• Cultivate, propagate or harvest a cannabis plant that is from seed or plant material that is illicit cannabis

The accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden at a later date.
