INVOLVED DRIVER FLEES ON FOOT FROM TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION
(LAKESHORE, ON) - An involved driver fled the scene on foot after two-vehicle collision.
On December 23, 2025, at 11:26 am, members of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Talbot Street North in the Municipality of Lakeshore, for the report of a collision involving two vehicles.
One involved driver fled the scene on foot. As a result, members of the OPP Canine (K9) unit and Emergency Response Team attended the area to assist with the search of the individual, however, were met with negative results.
There were no injuries reported.
Police are seeking dashcam footage or witnesses who might have been in the area at the time of the collision to assist with the investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
