KEEN-EYED OFFICER REMOVES ANOTHER IMPAIRED DRIVER FROM DUFFERIN COUNTY ROADS
On December 12, 2025, just before 6:40 pm, a keen-eyed Dufferin OPP officer observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane while travelling on Highway 89 near the Town of Shelburne. Officers conducted a traffic stop and subsequently initiated an impaired driving investigation.
Amanda STROUD, a 41-year-old female from Shelburne, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Fail to surrender insurance card
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
