(ESPANOLA, ON)  - The Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance in connection with two break and enter investigations that occurred on Monday, October 27, 2025.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, at approximately 4:00 am, the Manitoulin OPP responded to an alarm call at the High Life Cannabis Store in Espanola. Upon arrival, police determined that a break and enter occurred, where several items were suspected to be stolen.

Additionally, On Monday, October 27, 2025, at approximately 8:30 am, the Manitoulin OPP received a call reporting a break and enter at the Espanola Legion, where an unknown individual had broken into the building and stole several items.  

Police believe these two break and enter occurrences to be related, and the investigation remains ongoing.
