(GORE BAY, ON)  - The Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking public assistance in relation to a vehicle fire and break and enter investigation in Gore Bay.

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, at approximately 8:00 am, the Manitoulin OPP responded to a report of a vehicle fire near the intersection of East Bluff Road and Scotland Road in Gore Bay. A second report determined that a break and enter had occurred overnight at a township yard and building in Gore Bay, where the vehicle had been stolen from prior to being located on fire.
