MIDDLESEX COUNTY OPP INVESTIGATING FARMING ACCIDENT

One Person Confirmed Deceased

(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) - Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigating a farming accident that claimed a life in North Middlesex.

On September 20, 2025, at 4:03 pm, members of the Middlesex County OPP, Lambton County EMS and local fire were dispatched to a farm on Parkhill Drive in the Municipality of North Middlesex for the report of a farming accident.

Investigation revealed an individual was located unconscious in a well on the property and was subsequently transported to hospital.

The individual, a 15-year-old of Arkona, was later pronounced deceased at hospital.  

Members of the Middlesex County OPP along with the Ministry of Labour and Office of the Coroner are on scene as the investigation continues.
