(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an investigation into an incident of property damage in Simcoe.

On Monday, August 18, 2025, at approximately 8:01 am, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspected break and enter on Kent Street North.

The investigation determined that an individual had attended the property and caused damage to the exterior of a residence. No entry was gained.

As a result, 46-year-old Mark DASILVA from Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

• Mischief under $5,000, - Fail to comply with Probation Order - two counts

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
