MOTORCYCLE COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGES


(ESSEX, ON) - On September 13, 2025, at approximately 11:12 pm, members of the Essex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment received a report of a single motorcycle collision with two occupants on Fairview Avenue West in the Town of Essex.

Officers arrived on scene with Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Upon speaking to the driver, officers observed signs of impairment. The driver and passenger were transported to local hospital with minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Timothy BELMORE, 42-years-old, of Kingsville, was charged with:

•Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs

•Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), The accused is scheduled to appear on September 30, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and a 7-day vehicle impoundment as per statute.
