(QUINTE WEST, ON) - The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges as a result of a serious collision that occurred last month.

On Monday, June 16, 2025, at approximately 11:00 am, officers with Quinte West OPP, Quinte West OPP Crime Unit and Quinte West Firefighters responded to a multiple vehicle collision on Hamilton Road in Quinte West.

A driver of one of the vehicles was transported to hospital with serious injuries. Three other individuals sustained minor injuries.

Lin-zee JENSEN-GIESBRECHT, age 41, from Quinte West, was charged with the following offences:

• Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm
• Dangerous operation
• Drive left of centre - approaching crest of grade

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 24, 2025
