MULTI-VEHICLE COLLISION ON 401 SENDS THREE TO HOSPITAL
Minor Injuries, One Driver Charged
(KINGSTON, ON) - Three people were transported to hospital following a three-vehicle collision on Highway 401 in Kingston.
Officers with the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene on the westbound lanes, east of Sydenham Road just after 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Frontenac Paramedics and the Kingston Fire Department also responded to crash.
The injuries of those transported to hospital were described as minor.
A 27-year-old man from Laval, Quebec has been charged with careless driving, as well as for having windows obstructed by tint that is too dark.
While the highway remained open, there were temporary lane closures in place.
