(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a neighbour dispute in the Township of Horton.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at approximately 12:30 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a neighbour dispute, in the Township of Horton.  

As a result of the investigation, Robert SLEMKO age 65 of Renfrew was charged with:

• Three counts of uttering threats- Cause bodily harm or death
• Resist peace officer
• Uttering threats- Damage or Injure Animal

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
