(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for an attempted vehicle theft in Waterford.

On Monday, September 2, 2025, at approximately 7:27 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an attempted theft involving a vehicle on Thompson Road East in Waterford.

The investigation revealed that between 10:00 pm on Monday, September 1, and 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, one or more unidentified individuals entered the property and forced entry into a pickup truck. Although the suspect(s) were unable to steal the vehicle, significant damage was caused to both its exterior and interior.
