(ESSA, ON) - The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the theft of a 2019 Ford F150 that occurred in Angus.
On August 24, 2025, at approximately 5:00 pm, Nottawasaga OPP officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a business lot on Margaret Street in Essa Township. Video footage obtained from the area showed the vehicle being taken a few days prior at approximately 10:32 pm, on August 21, 2025.
The stolen vehicle is a grey 2019 Ford F150, with an Ontario plate “BW54760” The suspect is described as a male on a peddle bike, no further details have been obtained at this time.
The investigation into this theft is ongoing, and the OPP appreciates any assistance the public can provide to help resolve this case.

- Lock your vehicle: Always lock your vehicle when leaving it unattended, even for short periods.

- Use a Faraday case: To protect against electronic theft, store your key fob in a Faraday case to block signals from being intercepted by thieves using relay devices.
- Park in well-lit areas: When possible, park your vehicle in well-lit, busy areas or in a garage.
- Do not leave valuables in your vehicle: Remove any valuables or electronics from plain sight to reduce the temptation for theft.
- Secure your keys: Never leave keys in the vehicle or near the vehicle.
