(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) - On November 25, 2025, at approximately 4:22 am, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported structure fire in the Town of New Tecumseth.

The residence, located on Lawrence D. Pridham Avenue in a new subdivision near the 14th Line, a newly constructed and unoccupied home at the time of the incident.

Nottawasaga OPP officers and New Tecumseth Fire Rescue crews attended the scene and successfully extinguished the fire. No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Video surveillance obtained by investigators shows three suspects and a suspect vehicle-a blue Hyundai Elantra-arriving at approximately 3:50 am and fleeing the scene at 4:09 am with two gas cans.
