(ESSA, ON)- The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two break and enters that occurred at local businesses in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 15, 2025.

The first incident took place shortly before 3:30 am at a business located at 239 Barrie Street in Essa Township. Suspects forced entry through the front door and stole a quantity of cannabis products valued at $100.

The second break and enter occurred shortly after 4:00 am at a business located at 173 Mill Street in Angus. Suspects again forced entry through the front entrance and stole various cannabis products valued at $10,000.

Investigators believe the same suspects are responsible for both incidents. Surveillance footage shows a red Honda Civic (later model) with its front licence plate removed and rear windows tinted. The vehicle was occupied by three suspects, all described as tall, medium build, wearing masks and dark clothing. One suspect was wearing bright blue track pants, and the suspects used a yellow crowbar to gain entry.
