(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) - Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a robbery that occurred at a residence on Anderson Road in the Town of New Tecumseth. Officers are appealing to the public for any witnesses or information related to the incident.

On May 28, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, the Nottawasaga OPP responded to a report of a robbery at a residence on Anderson Road, in the Town of New Tecumseth. Prior to officers’ arrival, the suspects fled the residence on foot northbound towards Beattie Avenue.

A preliminary investigation revealed that two unknown suspects forcibly entered the home, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from the victims. There were no physical injuries to anyone during this incident and there is no risk to public safety.  

Suspect 1 is described as: A dark-skinned male, wearing black, white, and red jogging pants, white shoes, and a black hoodie.

Suspect 2 is described as: A light skinned male, wearing all black, black gloves with a Nike logo, carrying what appeared to be a green recyclable shopping bag.
