(ESSA, ON) - Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a shoplift and are requesting the public’s assistance to identify two people.

On June 3, 2025, Nottawasaga OPP responded to a shoplift incident at 7 Commerce Road in Essa Township. Shortly after 12:30 pm Two individuals were seen entering the store and taking two bottles of alcohol worth $120 then exiting the store with no attempt to pay.
