ONE ARRESTED IN EARLY MORNING BREAK AND ENTER


(WASAGA BEACH, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged a male in connection with an early morning break and enter.

On October 22, 2025, shortly after 5:00 am, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a break and enter in progress in the area of Cedar Grove Parkway and Mosley Street. Minutes later, officers arrived on scene and located the suspect. The 49-year-old male was arrested without incident.

As a result, the 49-year-old male, of no fixed address, was charged with:

  • Break and enter a dwelling house
  • Mischief
  • Trespass at night
  • Failure to comply with a probation order
  • Disobeying a court order

The accused was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on October 22, 2025.
