(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huronia West Detachment are investigating a fatal collision on County Road 27 in Springwater Township.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, shortly after 4:00 pm, officers responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcycle driver, a 36-year-old male from Springwater Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team. County Road 27 remains closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators are on scene.
