ONE INDIVIDUAL CHARGED FOLLOWING ASSAULT
(NORTH PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an assault on multiple people in the Township of Perth East.
On December 3, 2025 shortly after 2:00 am the Perth County OPP responded to a call for service in the Town of Shakespeare where one individual was assaulting his partner and her father after damaging the victims’ property.
Both victims did not require medical attention.
The accused, a 25-year-old male resident of Shakespeare, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Assault - Spousal
- Assault
- Uttering Threats
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused has been arrested and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on December 4, 2025 after which he was remanded into custody.
