(TWEED, ON) - Officers from the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, shortly after 4:00 pm, a member of the public contacted the OPP after a deceased male and his motorcycle were located in a ditch along Flinton Road, northeast of Tweed.

The investigation by the Central Hastings Detachment is in its early stages, with assistance from an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Forensic Identification Services.

The identity of the deceased is not being confirmed at this time.

Flinton Road is closed between Robinson Road North and Elzevir Road.
