(QUINTE WEST, ON) - Four people have been arrested during a traffic stop on Highway 401.

On Sunday, August 11, 2025, at approximately 9:00 am, the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 401 between Highway 33 and Glen Miller Road in Quinte West. 

As a result of the investigation, police seized over a kilogram of suspected cocaine, an amount of suspected cannabis and Percocet with an estimated street value of approximately $114,000. Police also seized over $7,500 in Canadian currency.

Four people have been arrested and charged.

Justin CORONA, 23 years-old, of Nepean has been charged with the following:

  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Operation while impaired - drugs
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Flight from peace officer
  • Possession of 30g dried cannabis in a public place
  • Drive with window coated - obstructed view
  • Drive motor vehicle with cannabis readily available

Lee BAUTISTA, 24 years-old and Fercival GARCIA, 27 years-old, of Gloucester have both been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Obstruct peace officer

Hassan ABDULLAH, 32 years-old, of Gloucester has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

The accused remain in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
