OPP ARREST PERSON AFTER USING COUNTERFEIT MONEY


(IROQUOIS FALLS, ON) - The Iroquois Falls Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a person after using a counterfeit $100 bill at a retail store.  

In early November 2025, police received reports of counterfeit $100 bills circulating at businesses in Iroquois Falls. Video camera footage was obtained and the person was identified and arrested on November 16.   

Tyler DOSKOTCH, 24-years-old, of Iroquois Falls was arrested and charged with:

  • Possessing counterfeit money
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on January 8, 2026.
