(MATHESON, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a collision on Highway 101 west of Matheson.

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 10:30 am, the Iroquois Falls OPP responded to a collision between a commercial motor vehicle and a horse and buggy. Four people were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with injuries.

The investigation is on-going with the assistance of the Traffic Incident Management (TIME) team. 

One lane on Highway 101 is open and traffic is alternating. Please be patient.
