(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a fatal collision.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, at approximately 7:30 am, the South Porcupine OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101, Whitney Township in Porcupine.

A 69-year-old person from Iroquois Falls was transported by ambulance to hospital where he died.

The investigation is on-going with the assistance the Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E) team.

The highway was closed for several hours.
