(MISSISSAUGA FIRST NATION, ON) - Heavy police presence in the area during the early morning of October 17, 2025, approximately 2:45 am

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed two simultaneous Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrants at two separate residences, one on Old Highway 17 and another on Park Road. Police seized approximately 87 grams of suspected cocaine (crack and powder), approximately 2 grams of suspected Fentanyl, approximately 57 suspected Oxycodone pills, numerous firearms - rifles and pistols (some loaded), ammunition, bear spray, over $13,000 wrapped cash, digital scales, packaging materials, and multiple cell phones. The approximate street value of the drugs is over $10,000.     

The OPP’s Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Tactics & Rescue Unit (TRU), and Aviation were involved with the investigation and five people were arrested and charged with numerous offences.

Edwin (Joseph Dolphus) CHIBLOW, 66-years-old, from Mississauga First Nation was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Opioid (other than heroin) - two counts
  • Breach of Firearms Regulation - store firearm or restricted weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon - two counts
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

Kevin (Stacey “Buck”) CHIBLOW, 49-years-old, from Mississauga First Nation was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Failure to comply with Release Order - other than to attend court
  • Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order - two counts
  • Possession of a Schedule III substance
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

Stacey MARTIN-CHIBLOW, 22-years-old, from Mississauga First Nation was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Failure to comply with Release Order - other than to attend court
  • Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order - two counts
  • Possession of a Schedule III substance
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

These accused persons were held in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on October 17, 2025.

Kealeea MARTIN, 23-years-old, from Mississauga First Nation was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Opioid (other than heroin) - two counts
  • Breach of Firearms Regulation - store firearm or restricted weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon - two counts
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

York (Nathan Edwin) JAY, 21-years-old, from East York (Toronto) was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Opioid (other than heroin) - two counts
  • Breach of Firearms Regulation - store firearm or restricted weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon - two counts
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

These accused persons were released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on December 4, 2025.
