(WEST NIPISSING, ON) - The Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a death.

On Thursday September 25, 2025, at approximately 10:00 am, the Nipissing West OPP, along with Emergency Medical Service (EMS), responded to a call for service at a residence on William Street, West Nipissing.

A 65-year-old person, from that residence was found deceased. There is no evidence of foul play or any threats to the public.

The Nipissing West OPP is working in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service to determine the cause of death.
