(CARDEN, ON) - Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover involving an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).  

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, at approximately 8:30 pm, OPP officers, along with local fire services and Emergency Medical Services responded to reports of an ATV rollover on Lake Dalrymple Road in Carden Township. The incident involved one individual who was ejected from the vehicle. 

The driver of the ATV, a 44-year-old male from Carden, was pronounced deceased on scene. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
