(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in the Township of Zorra.
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, at approximately 6:17 pm, members of the Oxford Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Oxford County Paramedic Services and South-West Oxford Fire & Emergency Services, responded to a two-vehicle collision involving two sport utility vehicles (SUVs) on 19th Line near the community of Medina.
As a result, a passenger in one of the SUVs-a 40-year-old resident of London, Ontario-sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. The driver of that vehicle sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the second SUV was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
19th Line, between Road 92 and Road 96, is expected to remain closed for several more hours to allow for the ongoing investigation.
