(ALFRED-PLANTAGENT, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an overnight break-in at a restaurant in Alfred.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2025, shortly after 2:00 am, officers with the Hawkesbury Detachment responded to the location on St. Philippe Street/County Road 17. An employee had arrived at work and discovered the restaurant had been broken into. There was damage inside and items were taken by the thief or thieves.

The investigation is ongoing.
