(CORNWALL, ON) - Two individuals have been transported to hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries following a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on County Road 18 near Chapel Road in the Cornwall area. The OPP is asking the public to avoid the area and plan alternate routes while the investigation continues.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the OPP responded to a head-on collision. Emergency responders, including Ornge air ambulance, attended the scene. OPP officers, Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist remain on site to assist with the investigation. There is currently no estimated time of reopening, and motorists can expect a lengthy closure.
