(CLEARVIEW, ON)   - Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a shooting in Clearview Township. 

On Friday, August 15, 2025 at approximately 10:00 am, members from the Huronia West Detachment responded to a shooting incident on a property on 15/16 Side Road near Highway 26. Upon arrival, officers located one individual who had sustained a gunshot wound. The individual was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the suspects fled the scene in a blue Volkswagen sedan prior to police arrival.

This investigation remains ongoing by the Huronia West OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
