(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - The Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a sudden death in Port Rowan.
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at approximately 1:50 pm, officers were called to a residence on Front Road, where one person was located deceased.
While the cause of death cannot yet be confirmed, preliminary information suggests that this is an isolated incident with no indication of a broader threat.
The investigation is in its early stages, and residents of the area should expect to continue to see an increased police presence. More information will be released when it becomes available.
The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Assistance is being provided by the OPP Forensic Identification Services.
