(FRENCH RIVER, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a serious collision on Highway 64, French River.

On Wednesday June 18, 2025, at approximately 1:40 pm, members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP, Fire Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a collision, involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle on Highway 64, French River.

The highway will be closed in both directions on Highway 64, from Shawn Street and Jean Street.

The OPP Collision Reconstructionist and the Traffic Collision Investigation Team are assisting with the investigation, to determine the cause of the collision.
