(NEW TECUMSETH, ON.) - Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a shoplift and are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the individual involved.

On July 3, 2025, shortly before 2:00 pm Nottawasaga OPP responded to a shoplift incident at a LCBO located on Dunham Drive in The Town of New Tecumseth.

On June 30, 2025, one male entered the store shortly after 8:00 pm, and was observed placing $292 worth of products from the display in their shopping bag then departed the store on foot.

The suspect is described as: a white male, 50 to 60 years old, small build, grey hair, hairstyle short, and beard. Black shoes, black pants, black shirt with white words, plaid jacket, and white and green bag.
