OPP RESPOND TO DISTURBANCE IN SIMCOE

One Individual Charged with Multiple Offences

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - One individual has been charged following a police response to a disturbance in Simcoe.

At approximately 10:39 pm on Friday, July 18, 2025, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a disturbance on South Drive in Simcoe.

The investigation revealed that a group of individuals had been involved in an interaction at the location, during which one person physically assaulted two others. No injuries were reported.

As a result, 31-year-old Juwon GOLDSON of St. Catherines, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Assault - two counts, - Obstruct Peace Officer, - Being intoxicated in public place, - Mischief - obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
