(GOWGANDA, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Temiskaming Detachment are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred in Gowganda. 

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, shortly before 9:00 am, officers received reports of a serious motorcycle collision on Highway 560 at Fourth Avenue.  

The driver of the motorcycle, a 74-year-old male from Dungannon, Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh was pronounced deceased. 

Emergency crews, including paramedics and fire services, are assisting officers of Temiskaming Detachment with the ongoing investigation. There were no other vehicles involved.
