(SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) - Members of the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious single-vehicle collision that led to the closure of Wilmer Road in Perth Road Village.

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, shortly after 12:15 am, officers received reports of a single motor vehicle collision. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 28-year-old of Perth Road, was taken to hospital with life-altering and potentially life-threatening injuries.

Perth County Paramedic Services, South Frontenac Fire and Rescue and OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist were on scene to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Wilmer Road was closed for several hours during the initial response and investigation but has since reopened.
