OPP SEEKING ASSISTANCE WITH THEFT OF CHURCH BELL
(WEST PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the public’s assistance with locating a church bell that has been stolen in the Municipality of West Perth.
On November 23, 2025 the Perth County OPP launched an investigation into the theft of a church bell from the area of St. Andrew St in the town of Mitchell. The bell was reported to have been stolen sometime overnight on November 21, 2025.
The bell is described as:
- Approximately two and a half to three feet tall
- Made of cast bronze
- Inscription of “The Ha Siena”
