OPP SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE FOLLOWING FAIL-TO-REMAIN COLLISION

(NORTH FRONTENAC, ON) - The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking information from the public following a fail-to-remain motor vehicle collision in North Frontenac.

On Monday, August 18, 2025, at approximately 10:55 am, officers responded to a T-bone collision involving a pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) at South Frontenac Road 8 and Hinchinbrooke Road North.

Upon arrival, witnesses reported that the occupants of the pickup truck, a brown/grey GMC Canyon, had fled the scene headed eastbound.

As a result of the collision, occupants from the SUV sustained minor injuries.

Police are looking for two individuals in connection to both incidents and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying them:

  • A female, described as wearing a pink sweater, black pants, and carrying a black handbag
  • A male, described as wearing a red jacket and black pants
