OPP SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN BREAK AND ENTER INVESTIGATIONS


(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying individuals connected to a series of break and enters in the Midhurst area.

On September 29, 2025, at approximately 7:00 pm, suspects broke into a residence on Saint Vincent Street, Springwater.

On October 2, 2025, shortly before 12:00 pm, suspects broke into a residence on Idlewood Drive, Springwater.

On October 10, 2025, at approximately 11:30 am, suspects broke into a residence on Glenhuron Drive, Springwater.

Through the ongoing investigation, police believe that the incidents are related. Surveillance footage captured the suspects arriving in a light-coloured Nissan sedan. The suspects are described as a female wearing a long, light-coloured coat and a hat, accompanied by two males with dark hair, both dressed in dark sweaters and track pants.

The Huronia West OPP is reminding residents in the area to take proactive steps to secure their homes. Please ensure all doors and windows are locked before leaving and consider using security systems or cameras where possible. These simple measures can significantly reduce the risk of break and enter incidents.
