(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) - The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a theft and is asking for the public’s assistance.

On November 26, 2025, police received a report of a stolen power tool from a commercial business on Oliphant Street in the Municipality of Brighton.

The theft occurred at approximately 9:20 am, and the item taken was a nail gun valued at approximately $730. The suspect left the scene in a blue vehicle with a loud exhaust.

Investigators are seeking to identify this individual and are releasing images of the person and the vehicle involved.
