OPP SEEKING PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN RELATION TO A SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION IN SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP
(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance regarding a single vehicle collision in Springwater Township.
On July 10, 2025, at approximately 8:00 pm, the Huronia West OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision where the vehicle had rolled over into the ditch on Penetanguishene Road north of Hillsdale in Springwater Township.
Huronia West OPP, Springwater Fire, and Simcoe County Paramedics attended the scene. As a result of the collision, two female passengers were transported to GBGH with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The male driver was transported to RVH with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. A third male passenger was transported to RVH and subsequently transported by air to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious injuries.
Penetanguishene Road was closed last night between South Orr Lake Road and Robert Boulevard for approximately 5 hours.
The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been laid at this time.
