OPP SEEKING PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN RELATION TO A TWO VEHICLE COLLISION IN SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance regarding a two-vehicle collision in Springwater Township.

On August 1, 2025, at approximately 5:30 pm, an officer from the Huronia West OPP while on patrol encountered a two-vehicle collision where one vehicle had rolled over into the ditch on Crossland Road and Flos Road 4 West in Springwater Township.

Huronia West OPP, Springwater Fire, and Simcoe County Paramedics attended the scene. As a result of the collision, a female passenger was transported to a Hospital in Toronto with life-threatening injuries. The male driver was transported to RVH with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were transported to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital in Collingwood with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Crossland Road and Flos Road 4 West in Springwater Township was closed for several hours during the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been laid at this time.
