(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating two vehicle thefts that occurred in Springwater Township.

On June 16, 2025, the Huronia West OPP received a call regarding a stolen vehicle in the Township of Springwater. The owner of the vehicle reported that their vehicle had been stolen from their driveway sometime between June 15, approximately 11:00 pm and June 16, 5:00 am

On June 26, 2025, the Huronia West OPP received a call regarding another stolen vehicle in the Township of Springwater. The owner of the vehicle reported that their vehicle had been stolen from their driveway that morning at 4:45 am

In both thefts, the suspect gained entry by breaking the rear passenger window. Both vehicle owners reported that all sets of keys were accounted for.
