OPP SEEKING PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE RELATING TO AN ASSAULT ON HIGHWAY 407 ETR

(VAUGHAN, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway 407 Detachment is seeking witnesses or dashcam footage related to an assault that occurred on Highway 407 ETR eastbound near Pine Valley Drive in the City of Vaughan at approximately 1:50 pm, on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Police received a report of a male motorcyclist who assaulted a male driver in a navy-blue Honda Odyssey. The motorcycle rider is described as muscular, stalky, and short, wearing a black and white helmet and a white motorcycle jacket.

The incident took place in an area where traffic was heavy due to construction and lane closures. The victim suffered minor injuries.

OPP thanks those who stopped to provide assistance to the victim of the assault and asks them to reach out to police if they have not spoken to OPP about the incident already.
