(KENORA, ON) - The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a previously reported robbery.

On September 8th, 2025, shortly before 4:00pm, officers responded to a robbery in progress in the area of Matheson Street South in Kenora. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Surveillance footage captures the suspect involved in an altercation with the victim on Chipman Street before fleeing the scene on foot. Despite extensive efforts the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as an Indigenous male wearing a yellow vest, a grey t-shirt, grey pants and a baseball hat. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
