OXFORD OPP CHARGE MULTIPLE STUNT DRIVERS OVER THE WEEKEND


(OXFORD COUNTY, ON)  - Multiple drivers are facing charges after being stopped by Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members for excessive speeding.

On November 15, 2025, at approximately 2:00 am, on Highway 401, Township of Blandford-Blenheim, Oxford OPP stopped a vehicle for travelling 160 Kilometers per hour in a posted 100 Kilometer per hour zone. A 25-year-old G2 driver, from Brampton, was charged with: with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed.

Shortly after the first incident, at approximately 2:45 am, on Highway 401 in the same location, Oxford OPP stopped a vehicle for travelling 180 Kilometers per hour in a posted 100 Kilometer per hour zone. In addition to being charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed, a 39-year-old driver, from Waterloo was also charged with: Fail to Stop on Right for Emergency Vehicle and Fail to Surrender Insurance Card.

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 12:00 am, on Sweaburg Road, in the Township of Southwest Oxford, Oxford OPP stopped a vehicle travelling 138 Kilometers per hour in a posted 60 Kilometer per hour zone. A 16-year-old G2 driver, from Woodstock, was charged with: with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed.

Later the same day, at approximately 2:30 pm, on Road 60, in the Township of Zorra, Oxford OPP stopped a vehicle for travelling 111 Kilometers per hour, in a posted 50 Kilometer per hour zone. A 18-year-old G driver, from Ingersoll, was charged with: with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed

All drivers received an immediate 14-Day Drivers Licence Suspension and a
