(NORWICH, ON) - A two-vehicle collision has claimed two lives, one other with life threatening injuries and another with minor injuries.

On October 24, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, members of the Oxford and Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachments, Paramedic Services and Fire Services responded to a collision on Mall Road, between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.

Upon arrival, emergency services located an SUV and a pick-up truck that had collided.

The driver and one of the passengers of the SUV were pronounced deceased at local area hospital. The other passenger of the SUV was transported by air ambulance to a London Hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The deceased individuals were both from Princeton and were 77 and 60 years-of-age. The 75-year-old remains in hospital with life threatening injuries. The 27-year-old driver of the pickup truck has since been released from hospital.

The cause of the collision is being investigated. Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team are currently at the scene conducting the collision investigation. Mall road is currently closed between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.
